“We found this to be a lovely hotel only a short walk to the town centre and sea front. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Car parking was unclear - there was clearly car parking at the hotel as we saw it in use but were advised we had to park on the street. It wasn’t a problem when we stayed but I can imagine it being difficult in high season”

“We were very happy with the stay, the location is convenient, a lot of restaurants nearby and few minutes walk to a shopping centre. The room is spacious, clean and the staff are nice and friendly. A lot of polices around the hotel makes it very safe and confident to park our car in the car park.”

“Great food great room styling. Sadly refurbished finishing didn’t include the shower. Nevertheless a great stopover. ”

“Great hotel with plenty of parking and locked gate at night. Room 003 was newly refurbished and very comfortable. Small fridge, kettle and pod coffee machine in room. Very spacious with 2 t.vs. Breakfast was fine and consists of bread, cold meats, cheese, yoghurt, tinned fruit salad and cereals. There was a few pastrys (they didnt look the best). Eggs you could boil yourself and tea and coffee machine. The main problem was everything was always empty and when they would replenish bread or meat……

“Fantastic place to stay. Our room wasn’t ready at check in time but they got us a coffee each. We got into our room. Lovely view and everything was fab. Little kitchen to make your own food. Kettle, fridge and dishwasher. Just needed to go shopping to get the essentials. Short walk to everything. ”

“Excellente adresse pour ce séjour de 5 jours , La Matelote les chambres sont excellentes. Le Chef et ses équipes en cuisines ainsi qu’en salle sont formidables. Nous y avons manger 4 fois.Je recommande fortement cette adresse. Merci beaucoup et à bientôt. ”

“Keep your curtain close or otherwise there will be tonnes of flies. The environment was neat and tidy and it was very near to a supermarket. However, the television indication light was EXTREMELY disturbing. It was bright and blue and shined through the night when all light was off. Have to cover it with a towel.”
