“This is a beautiful, character-filled hotel that is easily accessible but quiet and secluded. We were in a suite with a massive (California King) bed, huge marble bath, and lovely large bathroom with walk-in shower. We had a second-floor room with its own large outdoor sitting area with a view of the grounds. The restaurant was amazing: we ate breakfast and dinner each of the three days we stayed. “The views from our room were beautiful. They made up for the fact our room was in need of updating. Whilst very tired it was still acceptable and clean. We booked just the room so paid for breakfast the first morning. Not so good with cold overcooked eggs. However we gave it another go and I thoroughly enjoyed the 2nd attempt. Hotel right on the beach and very near the town for shops and restaurants. The bar, restaurant and lounge also had stunning views. Would happily go back.”
