Lovely stay in S'Algar
S'Algar is very quick and easy to get to from the airport. A quiet sleepy town with a couple of restaurants, a bar a couple of supermarkets and a dive centre. Nearby in Sant Luis is Eroski supermarket that is very good and has a great meat and fish counter. We used the little supermarkets in S'Algar for daily bread etc. The villa is a short walk to the sea. If you are driving would recommend nothing bigger than an aygo to fit into the parking space that comes with the villa. On street parking is availble but limited. The villa itself is lovely, in need of a little bit of tlc ie wardrobe doors not shutting properly, the seal round the glass on the oven door needs replacing not that we could figure out how to get the oven or grill to work. There is no freezer section for ice or ice cream in the fridge. There was also no toilet roll on our arrival so if you are arriving late remember to put one in your suitcase as the shops may be shut. Outside the pool is lovely and plenty of sunbeds, a bbq, table and chairs and umbrella for outdoor dining. Patio behind the villa and around the pool needs a bit of weeding but all in all very relaxing break. The only thing we felt was missing was a welcome folder, ie emergency phone numbers, doctors...bus timetables, local restaurant recommendations, tv channels list - the only non spanish channel is the disney channel so we mainly watched netflix. Thank you for a lovely stay we leave feeling truly relaxed and refreshed.
