As a small business, the staff is nice but does not always staff the front desk. I respect small business B&B style,, but unfortunately, there are things to be attended to with somebody on staff without having to text or call the ‘night number.’ For example, the ice machine was empty. The breakfast was only DIY waffles, toast and cereal and the coffee pot was empty. The pool had leaves in it but was fortunately a good temp. Most of all they need to confirm with guests that they have successfully refunded the $150 deposit thru charge, especially when there was no one to talk to at checkout. Beds were comfortable and we love Ojai, so I believe they can do better.
