We needed a late option to stay the night in Solvang. This property was available and turned out to be a nice place to stay. Fully updated rooms, nice pool area, close to all of the Solvang dining and shopping choices.

The hotel was conveniently located on the main street and shops and dining are within walking distance. Parking is limited if you have a larger vehicle. The front desk staff were all polite and helpful. The room itself was simple, and a little dated. It appeared the did try to update it some. Smelled very weird in the room. Like chemicals or glue. The water pressure in the shower was like being pressure washed. It stung a little, but maybe some people like it that hard. Just cover your nips! The free breakfast is offered at the bakery across the street. You get a coffee, juice and choice of bread with sliced cheese, butter and jam. The worst part of the stay was that the bed was extremely uncomfortable. If you have back or neck issues, or you're a heavyset person, you may want to look at hotels with upgraded, firmer mattresses. Aside from that, it wasn't horrible. Unfortunately I wouldnt stay again based on the bed.
