“Pros : - Good location / Beautiful views - Lots of hiking trails (some are free) - Farm environment with lots of animals - Restaurant onsite Cons : - Access is tough - Might need high clearance vehicle. - Basic rooms lacking insulation (we could hear the neighbors snoring all night long) - Buildings have seen better days - Jacuzzi wasn’t clean - Price/Value ratio is high for what you get Overall nice property with amazing views but lack of investment in accommodations. “Great location, it is only 2 mins away from Semuc Champey National Park Entrance and opposite to the cave. But be aware that there is no wifi, no hot water provided in the hostel. Electricity is limited from 12 noon to 1pm and 7pm to 11pm. The rest of time is lack of electricity. Food options are also limited. No restaurant is nearby. The redtaurant in the hostel is the only choice uou have in that area. The environment itself is excellent and surrounded by the jungle and river view underneath.……
