“This is a "no frills" place, but its perfect for a weekend in SC. We stayed in the two story loft room and it was perfect for multiple kids upstairs and two adults downstairs. “It’s been a few years since I’ve stayed here and now it’s under new ownership. They’ve remodeled the rooms and bathrooms. “5 stars for convenience, atmosphere, room aesthetics. 1 star for parking. The parking situation is VERY tight and not enough of it on the hotel grounds. The hotel charges $25 a night to park, however, if you aren’t lucky to get a tiny parking space you have to park on the street with a parking meter, which isn’t fair if you are being charged $25 already for parking. ”
