This is a budget motel and as such the room and property were great. Clean, comfortable beds. All we needed. The breakfast was great! We did have food & drinks in the Social one night & it was horrible. I paid $15 for a margarita that I couldn't drink and someone threw a few chips, chili, quac., beans, sour cream and cheese in a small bowl to make nachos. Would probably stay here again and avoid The Social. Oh, and the pool isn't much larger than a hottub.

Wonderful stay, close to the Railyard, shuttle to the Plaza. BUT: Building stairs and walkways need a deep clean with a power washer, filthy! Trash cans in parking lot continuously overflowing, no one sees it as their job to empty them. Restaurant / bar has terrible service, filthy patio, and lacks cushions on its wicker furniture, ouch. For the price it is the best deal in Santa Fe, considering the options.

Pool was dirty, which was main reason we booked the hotel. Room was dirty there was dead cockaroch. The walls were dirty fixtures were poorly maintained. Pillows were stained. I have stayed at boutique motels in the area. This was a poor attempt at one . Would not stay here again

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Honestly for the value/location it was great. We had an ant problem that I think is just a Santa Fe thing. Safe area, clean rooms, the pillows were great. Breakfast is better than I’d say any other included breakfast I’ve ever had and that staff is friendly and helpful as well.

Sage Hotel was quiet and walkable to Old Town Santa Fe. Check in and check out were easy. We found ants in the bathroom. The WiFi was spotty. Our bathroom door wouldn’t close.

Our room had a mildew odor and the bathroom walls appeared to have mold. The hotel was completely booked and we could not change rooms. We were also charged $78 more by Expedia that the Hotel charged its guests. This was the rate before taxes. I would like someone from Expedia to contact me.

I think calling this a “hotel” is misleading! It’s most definitely a motel. All, rooms have outdoor access from the parking lot. Swimming pool was SMALL for the number of rooms here and not that nice. That aside, the room was clean and comfortable. The tub/shower was old and somewhat yucky. The location was very good. We easily walked to the central square area and also to The Railyard. The “resort fee” of $15 covers a shuttle and breakfast. The shuttle is a nice convenience though we never used it. We enjoyed the bar/restaurant both evenings and even danced to the live music. It was definitely good value for our money and we would stay again.

There was confusion with the room at check in. The TV also did not work. We called the desk and they said they would send someone over. After an hour no one had come so we went out to eat dinner. The breakfast was very good though, and apparently there was a workout room, shuttle to the plaza and pool. We didn’t use these but they sounded nice. We were not charged for the room confusion.
