I loved the lovely grounds and the 3 different beaches.Our waitress in the main buffet was excellent and so friendly, Juventina. Also Esmeralda & Gonzalo were great too. Our only complaint was our dinner at the Mexican Restaurant was rushed and our fish was overcooked and the waiter never even asked how it was and if we wanted a different dish.

This sprawling resort is nestled on some hillsides overlooking beautiful Tangolunda Bay. It has three lovely beaches for sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling. Other watersports of kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and sailing are also available. In addition to its buffet restaurants, Las Brisas also has several excellent cuisine-themed a la carte restaurants. My wife and I were very impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We were made to feel very welcome as Canadian tourists with limited Spanish. Offsite tours and excursions are available. We took advantage of a City Tour to La Crucecita and a Snorkel Express excursion to Playa La Entrega. We did not take advantage of the pools because sometimes loud music was played poolside or there were other activities using sound systems. We preferred the quiet beaches. And while the grounds are very walkable, there are many levels and stairs. We usually walked down to the restaurants and beaches but then took a transport/trolley up the hills to our room at the end of the day. We certainly plan to return to this comfortable all-inclusive resort in coming winters.

I would highly recommend this property. The food was amazing. We could always find something to eat, and the quality of food was really good. The beaches were amazing. The resort is spotless. The staff is so friendly. Yes there are a lot of stairs at this resort and I mean a lot, there are shuttles and golf carts to take you everywhere if you have mobility issues or you just don’t feel like walking.

The property is dated and quite spread out. It’s a former Club Med and you can visualize how it was in its prime. The staff and location make up for any short comings. The food is above standards for a big resort as we ate at all the restaurants.

The service and the atmosphere really stood out. Being surrounded by nature and beaches separates Las Brisas from other resorts I've been to in the past. I would strongly consider returning. The buffets were solid while the a la catte restaurants were decent. Some dishes were a little too salty.
