“We have stayed in Gran Alacant several times but this is the first time I have had to leave a negative review. The property was dirty, there was rubbish under the beds from the previous occupants, what looked like dry blood on the wall, surface dust everywhere. The pool was dirty and it was only cleaned 4 days into our stay, there were 2 cameras that we could see - 1 at the poolside and 1 in the living room, this was an invasion of our privacy and if it was stated in the listing I'd have booked……

“This villa is first class. Very spacious with plenty of room for our large group. Everything was great. The facilities are many and excellent. Whilst possible to walk to Santa Pola a hire car enables you to visit the many attractions in the area. And if some of the group don’t want to go out there is plenty to keep them occupied back at the villa. Check in/out was quick and without fuss. The manager communicates well through WhatsApp. Our microwave was not working but was replaced by the……

“Unkempt, patio doors didn't lock security wasn't good. Miles from anywhere, as we didn't have a car, the distances to walk are too far, as mum and myself are disabled, the house was on four floors, which again was difficult, for my mum and myself, also we had small children with us, so the amount of stairs was difficult for them. The house wasn't cleaned during our stay. We had to pay extra, for Electric and bedding & towels, once Lola had met us at the accommodation, we didn't hear or see her……
