“This house is amazing. We brought our boat and had no problem putting it in at the free public boat launch which was just around the corner. The dock is new and in great shape. The kids fished and jumped off it. There is not a lot of houses on the lake and thus not much boat traffic. There is one little restaurant that has a marina. The food was pretty good but you have to bring your own alcohol. They will deliver you pizza by boat to your house. Pretty cool. The driveway is very steep but there……

“We had a great stay! The host was quick to answer our questions. We had plenty of rooms and plenty of bathrooms to accommodate our large extended family. The photos don't do it justice! The living area has a huge vaulted ceiling, and that area is sonlarge it's a dining room plus 4 couches and several other recliners and comfy chairs. We've never had a vacation rental with enough room to seat all of us, on couches or at dining tables. House smelled wonderful when we arrived.”

“Great property for a really off the grid vacation. A little too off the grid for me but I booked in a hurry and the owner did say no wifi. There's also no cell service, so you have to drive to a nearby cafe to communicate.”

“This is our fifth year celebrating a birthday with a week at Fontana Cabin. That probably says it all. If you enjoy nature and solitude, this is the perfect place for you. Robert responds immediately to any questions you may have, though we rarely have them after staying here so often. One thing to note is that the cabin is considered remote by many folks who did not grow up in the country, so don't plan on running out for something you might have forgotten. It isn't 10 minutes but more like 25……
