“This place should have its own category for its excellence. The staff, scenery, service, rooms, Its everything! It was beyond perfect. I would go back in a heartbeat as those people take your comfort very seriously. Even the dog took care of us! Seriously. This place covers all your needs and they work with you. But you need to ask the right questions. This isn't the USA, so don't assume that everything is inclusive. Their prices are pretty good and I would recommend anyone to go there.……

“Séjour de 3 nuits à Guatapé ; hôtel fantastique d'une propreté irréprochable avec chambre vue sur le rocher. L'extérieur, salle de restaurant, bar etc .... très bien entretenu ; petit déjeuner excellent. Nous avons même diner, carte simple mais tellement bien préparé. Et le personnel, d'une gentillesse et à notre service. Vraiment MERCI. Pas prêt d'oublié ce séjour .... ”

“Clean and comfortable hotel in a great location. El Peñol Rock is within walking distance—just be cautious of traffic along the road. Once there, you can access the site via the staircase entrance. We were able to run from the hotel to the rock a couple of times with no issues. If you’re driving, the hotel offers plenty of parking. Guatapé is about 4 kilometers away, or roughly a 5-minute drive. ”

“The room was great although the jacuzzi water was cold most of the time. The food was amazing from the restaurant. We didn't have much options as the hotel is in an isolated area unless you have a car to get around which we didn't. It was very relaxing. Beautiful views and amazing weather. ”

“I stayed for 2 nights at El Pescador Guatape. The appartment was well maintained and located just out of the center of Guatape. The contact with Juan (host) was very easy and he had good suggestion for activities and dinner places. Overall great experience. ”

“Great view from room of the rock. Easy transport to rock by motocab. So worth it to stay overnight and go up the rock before the crowds. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Good breakfast and on site restaurant. Easy walk into town. Room cozy/rustic with bed a double. Bring your own shampoo, hair dryer and hand towel. If needed. ”

“Large, beautifully designed and maintained property— both landscaping and architecture. Vistas of the water and access to it are excellent. Very clean. Very comfortable. Excellent food and service. Staff was kind and helpful. We did have a plumbing issue in our room. But staff attended to it immediately and fixed it. Proximity to the Piedra del Peñol couldn’t be better. It’s a bit outside Guatape, but readily accessible via Tuk-Tuk. ”
