“We stayed for 3 weeks and absolutely loved the house, access to hiking, easy drive to other parts of the island, and a terrific swimming area very near by. The house is fully equipped, very clean, comfortable beds and good quality linens, towels etc. Being near the ocean and in a warm climate there were a number of spiders and other small insects as one might expect in that climate and with being a country home. Three weeks on Pico was a bit more than we needed as it is quite quiet but there was……

“The location was beautiful and the host was very friendly. The apartment was clean and well stocked; however, we booked this location to sleep and to shower and both experiences were sub par. The bed is so hard, it offers little comfort after climbing Mt. Pico. The shower set up is odd, splashing water all over the toilet and provided toilet paper.
