“Very unique property. Great view. Loved the layout of property. For additional cost provided breakfast basket each day. Town has a well stocked grocery store nearby. Very picturesque village with a wonderful wine bar.”

“Kind people operating it. The property has a great view to the Pico Mountain, there are multiple houses lined up on a small street. It's a very peaceful vibe. It's within walking distance (an a beautiful walk - nice village with flowers, and fruits) to a cafe/bakery, a couple of restaurants, and a nice natural pool for swimming.”

“Fantastisch uitzicht. Authentiek huis, maar hierdoor ook wel wat vergane glorie. Behoorlijke onderhoudsproblemen en veel vocht in huis wat niet comfortabel is. Ontbijt op eerste dag was lekker! Parkeren uitstekend geregeld. ”

“We had a fantastic stay at Pike Cliffs. The location was excellent, allowing us to easily get to Lajes for whale watching and the whaling museum, Madelena for the nearby vineyards (and best grocery store), and, of course to Mt. Pico, which my oldest daughter climbed. The terrain is unique and varied across the island, unlike anything we’d ever seen before. The view from Pike Cliffs was stunning, we never tired of looking over the fields and cows to the ocean. Check out the photos and you will……

“This was our favorite place on our trip to the Azores. Harald was very welcoming, and the house itself was immaculate, well equipped and in a nice quiet location. There was even a marked walking trail down to Sao Roque within a few blocks of the house.”

“Grundsätzlich hat uns der Aufenthalt gut gefallen. Es hat alles bestens funktioniert. Wir haben die Waschmaschine benutzt, welche etwas kompliziert zu bedienen war → Eventuell hinterlegt man dort mal eine Anleitung. Ausserdem konnte man den Duschkopf nicht richtig befestigen.”
