“There are not enough positive words, in English, Portuguese, or any other language, to describe how fantastic my stay here has been. The house and garden are beautiful, the location is great (easy to get anywhere from here, but nice to be away from downtown). Nuno and Lorena went above and beyond to help me with anything I needed. It has really felt like home (I'm here for work), I'm sad to leave, and I will be forever grateful.”

Communication through the app didn’t work too well prior to our stay, but once we figured out an alternative she was very quick to respond and extremely helpful with any questions we had. “We were thrilled with this property for a family of four. The views from the penthouse apartment were incredible. Lots of space, super clean and anything you could need was in the apartment. You need a rental car for this area but it was so peaceful and scenic. Incredible walking trails right outside the complex. We enjoyed the spa amenities and pool every night! I would highly recommend Whales Bay!”

“This is a great place to stay if you prefer being in the heart of the city. The friendly staff were welcoming, assisting with any questions I had about the facility or Ponta Delgada. Breakfast was served as ordered and on-time. The modernized accommodations were very clean. The pool area while small provided a space to relax. I would recommend Casa da Galeria.”

“They are very helpful in all aspects, from booking tours, booking our taxi for airport transport. They where very accommodating with early check in and late check out due to our flight times. They have an area to hold our luggage so we could explore Açores luggage free. They are also very fast with replying to messages especially while in Açores! Apartment was clean and they cleaned daily and gave us fresh towels! ”

“We had a wonderful stay with our our 2-year old! Communication was great throughout and we were even able to check in a little bit early. The location is perfect and it feels very safe. They provided a travel cot, a high chair as well as a baby bath, which was lovely. The rooms are spacious and the kitchenette has everything you need (though I wish the microwave door opened the other way as it's a bit awkward to get into).
