“Alfama dream apartments were great! Very chill neighbourhood and location was ideal, few places to eat and drink within a 10 min walk and a convenience shop just done the road. We would definitely stay here again”

“The property was really special with a brick wall, nice artsy pictures and spacious. The entrance hallway was beautiful with pink walls and a big old style lamp. The bed was comfortable. There was a strange smell, maybe from the plumbing that should be looked at and corrected. The floors were not that clean. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay! The only complaint that we had was that it was extremely cold throughout the apartment. Even with the heaters on, we were freezing! The apartment was perfect for a weekend trip. The communication was great, and we had everything we needed :)”

“This apartment is unique with staircases and rooftop though a bit outdated. It has everything for staying away from home. There is a couple of mini markets nearby. The host was responsive; the instructions were clear and useful. There were some inconveniences though: the room with futon is actually not a separated room, the futon is places in the open space; the shower was not working properly, and there practically was no toilet paper. We needed to go and buy some.”

“Awesome unit! Read the check-in instructions carefully (we didn't). We met the owners - great couple! Super friendly and they gave us a quick "car ride" tour of downtown Lisbon! Location is a bit out of the way (25min walk from the harbourfront), with limited amenities such as restaurants etc. However the good part about this is that it was very quiet at night. Great for sleeping! And a small bakery 2 blocks away for morning coffee and pastries was awesome. Bus stops right by the place for……

“The pros. The appartment is properly sized for 4 people and bright. We found salt, sugar napkins soap and a lot of other items to clean up the room and the dishes. The surroundings are a bit decadent but we liked the location and the availability of tram, buses and shops nearby. The cons. The appartment was not deeply cleaned up before our arrival and we had only one set of linens for two beds. The toilet smells bad”

“The apartment looked and was exactly as listed, we love the historic and little winding roads of Alfama. And a beautiful view of the Tigas River. We were there during the massive power outage and got locked out due to electronic keypads, the property manager worked very quickly to get us back into the apartment! ”

“The apartment was noisy, not well kept and pretty dirty. The bathroom is so tiny and we often found roaches in the morning. However, the location is unbeatable.”

“In a lovely part of Lisbon's old town Close to trams and a few restaurants and shops. Very steep stairs up to the top floor but worth it for fabulous views.The host very kindly gave recommendations about restaurants. It would have been nice to have had some info in the apartment about the area and transport and maybe a bottle of water in the fridge on arrival! Just small things, overall apartment was very clean and well equipped, we had a great stay.”
