Halvat guesthouse is beautiful and has every amenity that you need for a stay. The beds are comfy, the rooms beautifully decorated and the breakfasts are wonderful. The guesthouse is in easy walking distance in the old town to shops, historical sites, restaurants and bars. Valida the landlady is lovely, so friendly and makes you feel like it's home from home. We were sad to leave but will definitely return.

I had a wonderful stay at this Guesthouse. Valida and her husband are excellent hosts and very welcoming. The room and bed were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a lovely spread and I couldn't possibly do it justice! The house is conveniently situated about a 5 minute walk from the main square but away from the main hustle and bustle. This was the perfect place to stay near the old town area. Bustling with eating options, local attractions, and fun shopping. Our host was the sweetest ever! So nice and accommodating. Very helpful and delightful. I would stay here anytime I am in town. You cannot go wrong with this guest house. Only one caveat: not for the disabled if you cannot handle stairs. Most of the balkans are full of stairs, and this guest house is no exception. But given that no where else has accessible areas, this is your very best option. We loved it! Amazing hospitality in Sarajevo

This is my fifth (I think!) time staying at wonderful Halvat. Valida and Mumo are the perfect hosts, the accommodation is well located, beautiful and spotlessly clean. And Valida's breakfasts are just incredible . I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Sarajevo and I'm sure I'll be back again soon!
