“This is probably the best property to stay in when visiting Idra. While it is a bit of a hike up the hill to the property it is abundantly rewarded with an amazing view and outstanding facilities. Dominique is a fantastic and attentive host. He met us when our ferry arrived and made sure that we had all we needed throughout our five day stay.The room is extremely comfortable and has everything one needs for a delightful vacation. “Alkis house is perfectly positioned to make the most of Marathonas Beach and minutes away from a number of excellent Tavernas. The accommodation was spotless and comfortable with everything we needed We particularly appreciated the large balcony affording uninterrupted views of the sea and surrounding islands We had one minor problem but it was resolved as soon as we raised it by the owner Would highly recommend this accommodation ”

“The villa was spacious, with plenty of room for a family of 10. The outdoor area and pool were perfect for relaxing, and the views were spectacular. Vasso helped us arrange a couple of activities pre-stay, which turned out to be highlights of our trip. Eleni and Vasso were quickly responsive when we had questions and promptly resolved the minor issues we had. They were awesome hosts, and we highly recommend a stay here.”

“The setting and furnishings of the 2 cottages are superb. The owner has excellent taste for color, artwork, and functionality. We loved our stay and Davina was always available by text or phone.Our one caution is that at 80 years old, the bed in the larger cottage is difficult to access --but we did, and it is very comfortable. ”

“My spouse and our adult son and his wife had an amazing 10 day stay at George’s traditional stone house. The location is perfect, approximately half way between the Port and Kamini. It is right beside Techne Restaurant but 20 steps up to the door of the house which provides you with privacy from the restaurant and the walking path below and magnificent views. We spent most of our time on one of the two exquisite patios which offered both shade and sun, as you prefer. It is one of the best……

“Excellent value, excellent location, about 5 minutes from the port, excellent amenities, very clean, and nice host. Shower had hot water, kitchen was well-stocked, there was a Nespresso machine and host provided some capsules, dry coffee, and a nice welcome gift. During our stay around Christmas, there were a few very windy days with highs in the low 50s F. Only negative was the rooms are drafty and with the strong winds even with both heaters running continuously, temps never got above……
