“A wonderful, post-Labor Day getaway for those who would avoid the high-summer bedlam on Auburn Lake. Our mid-week, three-day stay encountered but a single jet ski; thus, we frolicked and swam off the paddle boat (provided) for hours without a wake in sight. Of the cottage amenities and overall impression let me say, simply, that we've never encountered a more thorough or conscientious host. “This apartment was just as listed, perfectly situated in the heart of town. Having access to the private lot before check in is very convenient! We were able to start our day early and utilize the private parking spot and check in later. Great perk to be able to stop in and drop off all our shopping goodies throughout the day. Apartment was clean and suited our stay needs perfectly! Would definitely stay again.”

“Camper was open for us when we got there. Very thankful for the air conditioning to cool us off after hiking 6 miles in 90 degree heat. ”

“We absolutely loved our time at Sandalwood Cottage. The cottage couldn’t have been more cozy, felt just like being home, and the yard was beautiful as well. The deck was the perfect place to relax and watch the local wildlife. We even had three deer who came to visit a few times! Close to everything we needed, yet so secluded and peaceful. “Very nice house in a county park. Setting was beautiful and quiet. We fished from the dock and with our fishing kayaks. One of our family members uses a wheelchair. Ramp entry and accessible 1st floor bathroom with grab bars and shower seat appreciated. ”

“Lovely spot, close to beach , sounds of waves, beautiful sunrises. Only suggestion is blinds on windows in bedrooms, to keep out neighbors lights that shine all night. Water is very stinky, not their fault though, being lots of bottled water. Shower temp a little tempremental! It would be nice to have a dryer as towels never dry, towels don't absorb well for some reason. Beds were very comfy and soft! I' d book again and highly recommend!”

“We had an absolutely fantastic vacation at On the Rocks! The house was beautiful, well-stocked, cozy, and filled with so many fun things to do. The kids especially enjoyed the pool table and spent many hours in the fun loft playing pool and other games.The beach and outdoor spaces were absolutely phenomenal!
