Overall our stay was fine, nothing particularly notable to remark on that was outstanding.
We were not impressed with our room, particularly the fact that we had a joining room with a complete stranger, and even though the door was “locked”, it didn’t feel safe and you could hear everything in the other room: particularly the TV blaring for most of the night followed by the cleaning crew coming to clean the room around sunrise the next morning.
I think this is a hotel primarily used for construction or trades workers who need lodging while working across the border, so if you’re looking for a quiet place to sleep after a long drive or a family-friendly hotel then this isn’t the place for you. Parking is extremely limited, so if you don’t get a spot at the hotel, then you have to park a few blocks away in a sketchy neighbourhood. The continental breakfast was awful.
