Lovely historic property, in the most beautiful area in Savannah, other than being on one of the actual squares, but definitely don’t take that as a criticism! We had a quaint, street level suite, which was perfect for me, since I am somewhat disabled (although I don’t think that it would be wheelchair friendly, as there are some stairs to get in and around the suite, and to get to reception and the parlor would be impossible). They went out of their way to provide me with the perfect shower chair, too. Speaking of the parlor, it was totally worth climbing the stairs to partake in the delicious afternoon hors d'oeuvres, served with a variety of wines and soft drinks. Additionally, they serve dessert with port in the evening, which is great. Breakfast is served on the terrace in the back yard, and it’s a lovely experience, the service is excellent and the food is wonderful.
We stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Savannah with them, would definitely recommend. Plus it is said to be haunted! We are avid paranormal investigators, and although we didn’t do any investigating in the hotel, on one occasion in the parlor, I asked my husband about “Jone’sing” for something he wanted, and then I clearly heard a woman loudly whisper, “I am Jones” behind me! It was wierd, I don’t know who it might have been, but the Inn is located on Jones Street!!
