They definitely lack southern charm & hospitality. We arrived earlier for check in. We asked if they would hold our luggage and the response was, "I don't think we have room" They said they would call us when room was ready but never did. After check in I went back to front desk and asked for the 2 bottles of water That we not given to us at check in and the girls response was, " I gave them to you yesterday" I said "no you didn't since we just arrived today." She huffed but got me the water.
The following evening when we returned from being out all day, I called the front dest to say that our room was never cleaned. The response I got this time was,"If you read the sign on the bathroom mirror we clean every other day, You can come and get clean towels."
There were many incidents, from talking to other guests they were not pleased either with the staff. I should have written the names down of the staff but didn't. One that I do remember was Beverly. These women clearly do not like their job and should definitely be in another industry.
Having said that, I don't believe Hampton Inn will be a choice for us in the future
