Disappointed and Surprised by the Condition – Not What I Expected from a Hyatt
After a nearly 10-hour drive with two small children, we arrived at this 4-star hotel expecting a comfortable and clean stay—but were immediately disappointed. The room was not properly cleaned upon arrival: the tub was visibly dirty and didn’t drain at all. We were so exhausted we didn’t call the concierge, but ended up placing a towel in the tub just to take quick showers without standing in dirty water.
The tissue box had only two tissues left and was never replaced, parts of the carpet were wet, and both sofas in the room were stained and clearly not cleaned. With Hyatt’s reputation and so many positive reviews, I expected much more. This stay fell far below even basic expectations.
Additionally, there is no self-parking on the property. The only options were valet for $50 or parking in a public garage across the street that isn’t owned by the hotel.
This was our first—and definitely last—stay at this hotel chain. Very disappointed.
