Don't bother even walking through the front doors. I stayed at Sleep Inn Savannah Gateway I-95
Savannah, GA 31419 for one night and my experience was highly disappointing due to multiple issues. During my stay, I encountered serious hygiene problems, including both bed bugs and roaches in my room; we know this because my 12-year-old son had 17 little bites on his back. When I brought these concerns to the attention of the manager/owner, I was met with rudeness and a lack of willingness to address the situation, which made the experience even more upsetting. He, a about 5'7 Indian guy with an attitude who claimed to be the owner, (even though it's a franchise) told me he "does not believe me" and that I should get out and then threatened to call the cops. This baffled me because I literally only went down to notify him and to ask for a different room. After that confrontation, I took my family of 3 to the hotel down the street at around 3 AM because he kicked us out for complaining. I am usually never mad enough to write a review but due to his groundless anger towards me and the fact that he refused to refund me my money.
Cleanliness and respectful customer service should be top priorities for any establishment, and unfortunately, this was not the case here. I strongly urge future guests to be cautious and for management to take immediate action to resolve these problems to ensure a better experience for others.
DO NOT STAY HERE.
