This was a great place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, it was in a great location, and our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Every night from 5-6:30 they had a wine and cheese social with musical guests.

The front desk staff and concierges were incredibly unfriendly. Not once did they greet us, coming or going although my husband and I said good morning to them daily. When we were checking out, we walked past after sitting waiting for a taxi, no one said hope you enjoyed your trip or come back soon. Thd dining room staff couldn’t have been nicer. The woman who serves wine every night, Karen was wonderful. Very disappointed in the lack of Southern hospitality that your front desk exhibited. Really sourdough opinion of your beautiful hotel.

Excellent location and Chris (who does everything) was delightful. I assume you are paying for the location, which is great but for the price (we paid over $1000 for 2 nights) there is nothing special about the accommodations. The room was fine but looked out into a parking garage. For that price, you would think it would be possible to watch Netflix on the TV. For some I guess the “haunted” element would be fun but we found it unsettling. Nothing happened but the thought of it didn’t make for a great night sleep. My bad for not researching it better before booking.

If you’re coming to Savannah to have the experience of an old property than you won’t be disappointed, you can tell the floors are original. It has many unique qualities. I feel like it’s definitely overpriced, but you’re paying for the convenience of being right in the middle of everything. The staff wasn’t overly friendly at the front desk. However, the staff for breakfast was exceptional. They do include breakfast and a happy hour but for the price of the room I feel like they should also include the valet parking, which is $58 a day. It’s definitely worth a one time visit, but I’m sure you can find other things that are just as nice or nicer if you come back for a second stay

Love the Marshall House - convenient location and nice venue. The evening wine & cheese and delightful entertainment was really great. Breakfast was good, although we had to ask for a coffee refill. Our room was small but doable, especially with daily cleaning. Towels were luxurious. The king size bed was not the most comfortable but we didn’t mind. Valet Carlton was great as was our initial young man who helped us with luggage. Savannah was beautiful and we got nearly ideal weather conditions for our stay. I shall return!
