“What a great place! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary this weekend with some hiking and kayaking. The kayaking trip was canceled last minute due to weather, but we took the disappointment in stride, because we had this beautiful hidden gem to come back to. Chris and Laurie couldn't have been more accomodating. Great hosts with an amazing place. It was very easy to leave the noise behind and enjoy time with each other alone in the woods. Copper Falls is right down the road, highly……

“This multi-level house/cabin works well for family and friends to gather on the island. Lots of room inside and outside for potluck dinners and game nights. The basement 2br apartment was especially nice for our son's family with a toddler. The kitchen is well equipped and has excellent appliances. Claire was a great host and responded immediately to all questions. There is excellent storage and lots of refrigerator and freezer space for your island stay, ”

“Rented this trailer for a girls weekend. Very clean and budget friendly. It's on the quieter side of the island, which was great for us. The beach is across the street. I must have missed that in the description, but it was a great quiet beach and not a problem once we checked in. ”

“Nice place with plenty of room. The kitchen was clean and even had an air fryer and blender. The queen bed was a bit soft for my taste but that is a preference not a requirement. The local bakery, Bread of Life, had wonderful pastries and pasties. Joe checked in with us a couple times just to be sure everything was great. And it was. We were near plenty of great places to hike and enjoy the area. If we come back to this part of the UP, we will be checking here again. ”
