“Sehr schönes Hotel in perfekter Lage. Das Zimmer war sehr großzügig und hat für fünf Personen Platz geboten. Das Personal war darüber hinaus durchweg überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Uneingeschränkte Weiterempfehlung für einen Aufenthalt in Freiburg.”

The hotel is a short walk from the main train station, and in a great location to explore the beautiful city. Great breakfast in the morning, nice terrace for drinks in the evening. “Very good location,all kinds of shops, department stores, restaurants are within walking distance, public transportations are also very nearby. The atmosphere of the room was very romantic, the bed was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, Staffs of the hotel are very freindly,helpful and good service.”

“The hotel asked us to pay again when we checked out. It does not make sense to ask a traveling guest to bear the burden of providing payment evidence. It ruined the good mood of travel in the following days. ”

“Near to the center and Xmas markets. Hotel is good and clean. From the train station to the hotel need 15 to 20 minutes walk, it was rainy on the days so is difficult. Staffs are friendly, luggage storing is provided. Staff not familiar with the Flexbus from Freiburg to Colmar, better can have the transportation information for assisting Customers.”

Ich kann wenig aussetzen, was mir leider nicht gefallen hat war das Essen, es war nicht schlecht aber für einen Schnitzel 30€ zu bezahlen ist schon etwas heftig. Eine Rinderbrühe kostet knapp 10€. Verstehe nicht ganz wie diese Preise zu Stande kommen. Aber trotzdem alles insgesamt top.”

“New renovation, good location near shops and trains”

“The hotel is renovated, large and very clean and neat. The staffs are friendly and energetic. There is an elevator in the hotel, and it is very helpful for me. It offers many kinds of food for breakfast and it is delicious. The location is near to most of sites and Christmas markets, only 10-15 minutes walk from the DB train station. I would like to make a suggestion that is to change the kettle, because it usually smells strange when the water is boiled, maybe it can't endure the heat anymore.……

“this is one of the worst hotels i have ever booked. price/value is not there. the receptionist was rude and when I want to borrow the kettle (they don't keep one in the room), waited for an hour, then he said he is busy. the housekeeping did not do a good job cleaning the room, this hotel only have breakfast served. overall, a big disappointment, never again, I will stay at Fourside”
