“Horses for courses really. Very highly rated by others - walkers and wine buffs, perhaps - but it wasn’t for us. The building is very attractive; the proprietor was very pleasant; the breakfast was good. The room was spacious & clean but badly thought out - e.g. amongst other things, power sockets for the bedside were behind the bed and inaccessible, the loo was situated below a very low, sharp point of the ceiling, the curtains served no purpose at all. We didn’t manage to get wi-fi at all in……

“Die Pension und der Aufenthalt bei Weingut Gehlen Cornelius waren absolut toll! Das Frühstück war hervorragend und der Weinkühlschrank für die Gäste ein echtes Plus. Die Zimmer selbst waren modern und sehr sauber. Das absolute Highlight war die tolle Terrasse mit Blick auf die Weinberge – ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen. Sehr empfehlenswert! ”

“Das Hotel ist urklich sehr schön, gutes Frühstück und sehr nettes Personal. Auf Wünsche wird sofort eingegangen. Im Ort selber gibt es leider wenig Einkehrmöglichkeiten, Hotel "Zur Post" z.B. geht Aufgrund der mangelnden Freundlichkeit gar nicht. Lohnen tut sich dagegen ein Besuch im "Nostalgie Cafe", sehr urig und super nett. Mit dem Rad ist man in 20 min in Bernkastel und mit dem Schiff in einer halben Stunde. Der Fahrradweg startet direkt am Hotel und der Bootsanleger ist auch direkt am……

“Wir wurden sehr nett willkommen geheißen. Das Personal und der Service waren generell sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Herzstück und Aushängeschild des Hotels ist das außergewöhnliche, vielseitige und liebevoll zubereitete bzw. angerichtetete Frühstück. Jeden Morgen ein Highlight. “Beautiful location overlooking the Mosel River. Park the car in the public lot and walk about 300 meters to the hotel. Room key is in the lockbox and easy to access once you have the code. We had breakfast at the restaurant located down the street from the hotel and it was fantastic. We enjoyed the Weihnachten Festival just down the street from the hotel (100 meters). ”
