“This house was perfect for a weekend getaway. Location-wise we had easy access to hiking trails nearby and Gettysburg. House was super clean and had a great layout for just hanging around. Private, wooded lot felt secluded. We enjoyed the fireplace, large kitchen and the hot tub after a long winter hike. The game room in the garage was perfect for some evening relaxation. The hosts were quick with communication and easy to work with. I would definitely return in the future.”

“This was the 2nd year our group of families stayed at this home, and it was more perfect than last year. We arrived Friday last afternoon and evening, and everything was as described. Saturday, a quick 10 minute drive and we were at the slopes for a ski day at Liberty Resort. The proximity is perfect, so in the evening, we drove the teems back for more skiing while the adults hung out at the house. Sunday was a beautiful and perfect snow day. We had planned on a chill games day at the house, and……

“We stayed here overnight but it’s definitely a place we would book again for an extended stay. It’s clean and cozy with all of the amenities in a quiet town, not far from shops, grocery stores or places to eat, and the host Heidi was responsive.”

“Our stay was pleasant. The place was roomy and all amenities needed. The views were wonderful. Our only gripe is that the owners live downstairs and you can hear talking, movies/music etc so wouldnt recommend if you are seeking complete privacy. A lady that was looking for a women called Jane actually walked right in to our rented home. We thought that was a bit forward and shocked that she thought it was okay to just walk in without even a knock. But thats not the owners fault, just poor……

“Cozy cabin in the woods, very off the beaten path (SUV and GPS a must, in our opinion). Went for a long weekend, wanted a place that would be close to Gettysburg for hubby to visit battlefields and for me to sit back with my dogs and be "one" with nature while working on my writing. Both boxes checked. Cabin was clean, plenty of area for our dachshunds to run in the leaves. Enjoyed morning breakfast with the neighborhood herd of deer that came to visit each morning. “The house was much nicer than the pictures showed. They are in the process of remodeling and it was actually very nice. The host was unable to access Vrbo so he was not responsive to my messages. Vrbo put me in touch with him and he was on top of it from there. He was a good communicator once I got a hold of him. The place was much better than it looks in the pictures. The only down side was there are not nearly as many beds as listed. ”

“Neat & clean, this small home was perfect for my friend and me. It's located on a farm in a farming community, but being winter, the animals were not in evidence. We did hear the ubiquitous farm dog from time to time. Love it!”
