“My partner and I hoped for a peaceful getaway to hike and chose this place. As soon as we drove in, it seemed like nothing we’d quite seen. It’s walled like a park with an expansive front yard area, but it’s private. There are really cute old buildings. It was like we had the place to ourselves. “Very nice hotel on a hillside overlooking Madison. My room had a balcony. I wish I’d had more time to hang out on it. Breakfast was pretty standard but fine. Room was huge and clean. There is a bit of truck noise from the road heading over the bridge. Nicest hotel I’ve stayed at I awhile. ”
