“We were in Roxboro to visit a relative and stayed here.When we arrived, the unit was neat and clean. There are two twin beds in the living area, but it is very spacious and not crowded. The kitchen area is stocked with dishes and cookware. The laundry machines in the bathroom are a plus. My husband and grandson enjoyed fishing from the shore and floating pier. They caught several blue gills and one large bass. I think the water is OK for swimming or floating in a tube, but we did not have……

“Our stay at Chateau Vigne was absolutely wonderful! The property made our trip!! Marilynn was so helpful and the communication was perfect. The chateau is beautifully appointed and our hosts did not forget a thing, from the most lovely linens, extra towels, and fresh coffee, to an array of toiletries in case we forgot something. “Our stay at Buggs Island/Kerr Lake was nothing short of amazing! The house fit our families needs perfectly. The kids loved the air hockey table downstairs. The dock was very nice and had a great place to dock our boat and area for the kids to jump off the dock and swim. The neighbors were very friendly. First impressions are everything, and this house was beautiful inside and out! Daniel and Brandy have taken extreme care in the remodel and turned an older home into a modern delight. “This property has everything for a large group get-together. The upstairs has a beautiful kitchen, large bedrooms (2) and bathrooms (2) screen porch and deck and several comfortable places to sit and relax. The downstairs was not as nice and needed to be cleaner. We did not spend much time here using the outdoor amenities. We needed the bedrooms and bathrooms as our group had 11 people and we were having a family Thanksgiving at my brother’s house. Had to pay for bedding and towels. That seemed……

“This house truly was so much more than we were expecting. There was an additional bedroom with bunks that was very helpful and TONS of spaces not really highlighted on the listing. It was an amazing place! We had everything we needed and the host was responsive. ”

“We had 9 adults and 5 children on our trip and never felt crowded. There was plenty of room indoors for large groups, along with great outdoor space plus a large enough table for everyone to eat at the same time. The game closet, ping pong table, and swing were great additions. Perfect location to get away, while also being close enough to some great activities. Some things do need to be updated/fixed up (outdoor play area, one of the bathtubs, carpet), but overall it was a good stay and the……
