“This is an excellent hotel fir a vacation with a well-maintained pool, beautiful views of the river in the back and harbor in the front, a fitness room, a playroom with billiards, video games, board games and a TV, a large deck with a terrific view of the river, and outdoor sitting and eating areas. “What a charming old house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the host Ed couldn't have been nicer and greeted us as we arrived. He showed us around and told us about the house. The location was perfect for us to visit our son who is working in the area. House was super clean and our two small under 20lb. (noisy) dogs were welcome. The dresser in the bedroom is the same antique dresser I have at home!! I would stay again. We had fun watching the wild turkeys that were nearby. Thanks again Ed.”

“We have rented many times from VRBO and this has to be one of the best. Exactly as described, looked even better than the photo's. Everything very well stocked. Perfect location so you had easy access to Boston and Cape Code but serene and private. The house is spacious and well stocked, one of the best actually in our experience. “Beautiful resort overall. Our room was beat up though. The door was cracked (like 6 inches) at the door lock. Looks like someone tried to break in or out and the door hadn’t been replaced. Door still locked but gave me the creeps a little. Also, mislead by “ocean front.” This does not mean your room looks out at the ocean, despite what the photos show you when booking the room. It means the ocean is adjacent and you have to step outside to see it. Make sure you read the fine print so you know……
