“We loved staying at this cottage. Plenty of wow factor with all the character of the house. The house had no issues, super clean & comfortable. Our 2 dogs had no reaction to the house that any other dogs were ever in it, they were as calm as being at home, no other pet scents left behind. I chose this cottage because of its close proximity to the zoo & pottery shops. We traveled over 500 mi. from Pennsylvania, & it was worth the trip & the dogs loved it too. “Durene was such a pleasure to communicate with and made us feel welcome from start to finish. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay and we’re so grateful we chose this home! We had everything we needed and more. The outside area was our favorite place to hangout during our stay, but the inside was beautiful and comfortable for our group of three. We can’t wait to come back :)”

“Cute little property on a quiet street. Location was good, easy to get to town and hiking. The house was nicely decorated, modern/farmhouse, inside was clean. The television needs updating; we could not even use the netflix app or cast from our devices since the TV was very outdated and the channels available were limited. We were not there to watch TV but at night it would have been nice. It also would have been nice if there was a "renter's manual" to tell you where things were in the house,……

“The butterfly cottage is so super cute!! There were lots of extra amenities provided like a leash lead for our pups outside, bottled water, condiments, some food and snacks, toiletries, bug spray etc which was GREAT! The owner is super responsive kind and helpful and made our stay great! The outside firepit is wonderful but definitely use the bug spray this time of year lol! Also love how close we were to Pinehurst Golf course and Pinehurst village was AWESOME! DEFINITELY recommend this cute……

“The house itself was clean and in good shape, however, there is a lock on the thermostat (and no way of telling the temp) so we had 2 miserable nights of sleep. The owner never reached out to us to see how check in etc. went. The surrounding area was unexpected, especially at the entrance to the driveway. ”
