It was under construction that we had no idea about we then moved rooms and it was just as bad we was supposed to stay for a week we left 4 days in very sad trip probably the worst hotel i have stayed at

the staff is nice but there is NO A/C, you have to request a fan, it was so loud and the hotel is extremely outdated. Parking was blocked off even though we were staying there, so we had to circle around and ask for an attendant who finally let us in after we just waited in front of cones that were blocking the hotel parking. This hotel is really bad. there was a construction light also in the hallway outside our room that shone into the room all night, and even with the curtains completely closed, it was so bright. the noise level from above and next door were super loud. the location is nice but this hotel was just awful.

The hotel is in a good spot right next to the beach and parking was good. They were remodeling or doing some updates to the hotel so every morning we got woken up by power tools or some other clanking. My patio didn’t have a lock on it at all. I went to front desk and they did end up giving me a piece of wood to keep it locked that way. Staff was nice but kinda overpriced for all the issues it had and the mattress was not good at all.

Great Stay — and Only Getting Better! With the exception of one receptionist, the staff was absolutely fabulous. The property, though older, was impressively clean — hats off to the team for that! I really commend the owners for recognizing the need for updates and moving forward with a remodel. I’ve got a feeling that once it’s done, this place will be booked solid. Get in while you can — we had a GREAT stay!

The staff were exceptionally nice. The manager at the front desk, Richard was good at his job. Consoled a crying kid and gave my girlfriend and I an upgrade. The area around is also nice. You'll love it

Major construction going on at the property which was not only loud but left a huge mess. Been going to this hotel for nearly 30 years and this was the worst experience so far.

It needs an update. The room was clean but the bathtub was peeling and the balcony walls were very dirty and gross and the glass on the patio had bird poop all over and it was hard to see the ocean through.

Check in was great, price was high for how loud the contruction was. It was right in front of our room on the 5th floor. I believe prices should be less while construction is going especially for those who pay extra for the ocean front. Room was clean, bathroom tub and toilet was dirty

The room they gave us was dirty and so small they gave a door together with my room and it sounded like we were together, a lot of sand in the bed and it sounded like we were together, a lot of sand in the bed, I won't rent it again

This gets a high rating because for the price it’s a great deal. We spent under $400 a night for a room that overlooked the beach with a deck, had a kitchenette, and parking was easy. This is the second time we have stayed here, they are making improvements. I’m hoping they will keep their cost down so it remains an affordable option for families. Pros: staff friendly, location, price, fairly clean, kitchenette, parking. Cons: older building, old appliances in room, noise from the boardwalk, small pool/hottub. I would stay here again.

The view from our room was fantastic. One could people watch from our deck for hours if one wanted to. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The repair/maintenance work every day was mildly annoying but not too bad. The work crew was very friendly and accommodating when in the way. The ocean side of the place is fantastic, the parking area and surrounding streets are pretty blah but functional.
