“Very nice place, we felt like at home here. Everything was clean. The apartment has everything you need, you can cook, you can relax. The town is beautiful. Shops literally across the street. Cheap parking right next to the apartment. The owners are very helpful and answer all questions very quickly. I would definitely go back to this place and I highly recommend it. Beautiful characterful cottage, extremely informative library for local walks fully kitted with lovely clean comfortable beds, culinary equipment and crockery needs. ”

“The property was lovely, and clean. A great location with good amenities. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. We have stayed at lots of homes as an extended family group and this was great, with a good location. Only criticism would be that 9:30am is the……

“Larger rooms and property than expected with a huge kitchen , central heating and every thing you would need to self cater. Quiet location with gated parking. Greatest views of Ireby and Uldale fells, and 100mtrs walk to the breattaking views of the Solway. Do not have any hesitation of this great propery but be aware you are close to all tourist locations but is a great getaway for walks, etc. One slifht issue, not reLly worth mentioning is that the grass needed cutting and the cumbrian……

“Quaint cottage great position for exploring the Lake District. We visited in Dec, cottage warm and welcoming on arrival. Festive tree and decoration a lovely added touch. Cottage well equipped with everything needed for an effortless stay. ”

“The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. A minor niggle, but it was a bit cluttered with cushions and throws in the sitting room - the throws just slid off the leather sofas and the cushions were too big and too many, so were surplus to requirements. The location suited us very well, with a host of lovely walks and places to visit nearby. We had a wonderful break and can recommend!”
