I booked this place last-minute based on great Expedia ratings, but honestly, it didn’t live up to the hype. The hotel itself is pretty worn down and extremely noisy, you can hear EVERYTHING from hallway chatter to vending machines and the ice machine. If you’re a light sleeper or need quiet to relax, this definitely isn’t the place for you.
The tub situation was weird and cheap—one of those plastic inserts over the original tub, and you could feel the uneven gaps beneath your feet. The bed was just okay. The room fan sounded like a jet engine, and the entire hotel smelled like chlorine, even outside the pool area. Speaking of which, the hot tub had a brown tint (no thanks), and the pool didn’t smell great either, so we skipped both.
Location is decent, but nothing special enough to make up for the rest. They also charged a $100 incidental deposit, though I have no idea why—there weren’t any extras to use. Breakfast was underwhelming—just a bunch of processed food that didn’t feel worth eating.
Bottom line: I won’t be staying here again.
