This property is under construction/ renovation, which neither the website or Expedia listed. It was very inconvenient to get our car into and out of valet, and they didn't even have a lobby (it's torn apart). They gave us a voucher for a free drink at an extremely packed restaurant (in lieu of the lobby) with very tight counter seating. We were early for check in, but we had called ahead and they said it would be ready in an hour. It was not. They took our luggage and put it in a locker (where?) until we could access our room. We went to have the drink, and waited for our call to say the room was ready. We got the call, checked in, and went to our room to wait for our luggage. .
They brought our luggage, as well as two pieces of someone else's luggage. I pointed it out, so crisis averted. As we relaxed in our room before heading out for some nightlife, we were soothed into a pleasant mood to the sound of the banging, hammering, and clanging of the reno that was underway. As far as the room goes, it was absolutely beautiful, the view stunning, and the bed so comfortable I tried to find the brand name on it so I can buy one for our home! Great pillows, fluffy comforter: I had the best sleep ever. But no fire at rooftop pits, no power we were told (a HUGE draw for us).The valet parking lasted till 5:00pm the following day. We wanted to put our bags in our vehicle to shop; they said it was too much trouble to pull the car around (locker again). Great place, bad experience.
