The entire staff was great -- front desk, breakfast and housekeeping couldn't have been any more helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was simple and good enough to start your day. You might have to park on the street if you get back to the property late at night, but it's really not that bad. The general patio area is a nice amenity for this kind of place. My one suggestion is to not keep the rooms so warm prior to check-in. It was around 60 degrees (F) outside but it was so hot in my room that I had to open the windows and leave the door open for a while. Turning up the heat like that was a complete waste of energy.
There is one negative that is out of the hotel's control. The alley behind the building can be very loud because there are multiple dumpsters back there for another building. I was there when there was a pickup and I don't see how anyone could sleep through that. Also, morning rush hour traffic can easily be heard from the room because the windows are really thin - honking, sirens, people driving like jerks. So, if you're a light sleeper who plans on sleeping in on a weekday, you should probably try to go to sleep early.
