The hotel is a timeshare property. Although it is branded as the Hyatt Vacation Club, it lacks the service and amenities typically associated with Hyatt hotels. The pictures of the Red Rock mountain views on Expedia are very misleading — the view you actually get is not even close. We were assigned a unit at the bottom of the building, almost like a basement. We had to carry our large suitcases down 40 steps. The front desk had confirmed that we would have a mountain view, but the unit we received faced the opposite direction, with two large trees completely blocking the living room view, making it feel even more like a basement. After some difficult negotiations, we were eventually switched to another unit. Also, be aware that the front desk will direct you to another team trying to sell you a timeshare. Overall, the hotel is significantly overpriced for the service and experience provided. I would not recommend it at all.
