Decorated as my personal guest house (not a standard rental) this home is not only kept meticulously clean, but the furnishings are tasteful and well-appointed.
Awesome "great room" connected to a gourmet kitchen (convection oven, granite counters, etc), connected to a dining area that expands to seat 10, with a sliding glass door that leads to a patio (with outdoor dining) that looks out on Coffee Pot Rock and Thunder Mountain.
Both bedrooms (brand new mattresses, beautiful bedding, have sliding glass doors that lead to a private, landscaped back-yard lounging area (and second outdoor dining area) with views (across an open field of amazing diversity), of the entire Brins Mesa wall, the "Sail", the "Sphinx", and the Schnebly rock formation. Second bedroom has its own smart TV in addition to the APPLE TV in the "great room".
The living room area has a beautiful down, ridiculously comfortable, upscale sofa facing a 50" TV, equipped with a sound bar and apple TV with Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime and Apple music (or bring use your own subscriptions on your laptop). Your iPhone can be blue tooth connected to the sound bar. ( NOTE: plenty of 'TV subscriptions" ) WE also have DIRECT TV.NOTE: there is a 3 day minimum to book this place... However, if you are looking to book in between other bookings.... feel free to email me about one or two night stays.
This property is bordered by a natural open field: you feel as though you are in a private oasis. My house is on the same property. From 2 of your patios you do not see my house. From the third it is 20 feet away (beyond a lush hedge of landscaping.) You will never see anyone coming or going as we have a separate driveway.
NOTE: there is a 3 day minimum to book this place...
Guest house is separate from the main house , which the main homealso has a a 2 bedroom/ 1 bath short term rental available if your traveling with another family and need more space. This rental sleeps 4 to 5 people. The casita is private and has3 patio lounging areas (all with great views) exclusive to your use.
Your house contains your own laundry. Soldiers Pass is an amazing location, nested among million dollar homes and expansive views.... Because it is just feet from so many trailheads, and a bit over a mile to shopping, you are both away from it all and close to everything.
TV: Your Apple TV offers HULU, NETFLIX, AMAZON PRIME, YOUTUBE, Apple Music and an amazing sound bar. as well we offer DIRECT TV
OPTIONAL GUIDE: Don't hesitate to ask me for advice when you get here. especially if you are here during our crazy-busy tourist season of March and October.
We are located in one of Sedona's exclusive neighborhoods with direct walking access to some of the most beautiful red rock country hiking trails. We are 1.5 miles from the whole foods shopping center, fine dining and quick take out.
NEARBY SWIMMING POOL (seasonal May-Nov. per). Soldiers Pass Rd is home to the Sedona Public Pool... Less than a mile away, you can hike or bike there. With 360 degree STUNNING red rock views in all directions, and just $3/day, it is a magical place to cool off in the heat of the day. I even go there just for the sunset view. Ask me details about my favorite sunset spot... a picnic table look-out just 20 feet along a trail near the pool.

My husband and I stayed for four nights and it was marvelous. The host Joey was very easy to communicate with, and she and her husband were very responsive to our questions and needs. The Casita is charming with very relaxing, backside and front yard with beautiful red rock views from the back and a welcoming fire pit as well. There is also a welcoming Jacuzzi, which we did not use, but looked very clean and inviting the neighborhood is beautiful and it is a short walk to the trails. Joey went the extra mile and left reviews of local restaurants and fun things to do and maps inside the notebook on the table . If you want a place that’s convenient to everything but away from all of the noise and touristy buzz with beautiful views and peaceful nature surroundings. This is it.

Our family of 4 loved our stay at this rental. The inside and outside spaces were all clean and functional for our enjoyment. The views lived up to the pictures, and great hiking was available without having to drive anywhere. We would stay here again.

This was our first visit to Sedona and the beautiful red rocks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this peaceful Casita. Well equipped with everything we needed. Very quiet neighborhood. Close to everything. Host was very helpful providing information about hikes, shopping and restaurants. We would highly recommend staying here when visiting Sedona for couples or small family.

Exactly as described in listing. We couldn’t ask for a better location or views. Can easily walk to main town (although a bit of a walk) or straight to a very popular hiking trails. Outdoor area was clean and tidy and had fabulous views of the surrounding mountains. The only mention is that the hot tub could use a bit of a clean. Nothing that prevented us from using, but maybe a bit of TLC.Rooms were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom was clean and had toiletries for household members to use.The laundry was a nice bonus after a few days of hiking.My only suggestion is we found the couch very uncomfortable and we couldn’t manage to work the TV (although we didn’t try very hard d). It probably could be streamlined a bit and I think some of the remotes simply need new batteries. We weren’t there to watch TV, so it wasn’t an issue for us.Overall a great place and would happily stay again.Host was very helpful with a payment issue (that was completely my fault) and assured me we could get it taken care of after checking in. This is a perfect place for a couple or small family!

We had a wonderful time in Sedona thanks to this beautiful VRBO! The beds were especially comfortable, the kitchen was equipped with everything we could possibly need during our stay… Such a quiet location with magical and breathtaking views from every spot outside. We loved the hot tub! The hosts were so considerate and made sure we had a wonderful time! We would love to come back and stay again! Thanks for everything! 😀

My wife stayed here for 4 nights for my 40th birthday trip. The place was perfect location. Walk to local trails, easy drive to stores and restaurants on west Sedona and uptown. Hot tub and all the amenities were perfect. I’d highly recommend this place .

This is our second stay at this lovely home. It is in a perfect location with an easy walk to a popular hike. The views from the property both front back and even on the side are stunning. The bed is very comfortable and everything you could possibly need is provided. We will be back!

This home was everything we needed for a wonderful and relaxing stay. It was very clean and as described in detail in the home listing. The location is fantastic and close to everything. the views are incredible. The bed was comfortable and the provided fan was essential for a goodnights sleep. I did have to get used to multiple windows with no coverings, in the living area and laundry room but I know that for many that is part of the appeal. The neighborhood is multimillion dollar homes and so quiet. So many outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. HotTub was a nice touch to recover from all the long hikes. If I have the opportunity to go back, i’d definitely stay here again!

Truly amazing place! There was not anything more we could have asked for. Location is insane. Views from everywhere in/out of house. Feels like you're far away from city, but Whole Foods just down the street. Perfect!! If we ever get to go back to this magical city, we will stay here again. If I could give this property 10 stars, I would. The location, home, and outdoor space are just lovely. My husband and I mountain biked during the day, and rested and relaxed at the home in the afternoon. The house provided so many options for lounging -hammock, outdoor lounge chairs, huge, comfy couch - just perfect. The location of the house is close to all the dining and shopping options Sedona has to offer, as well as easy access to some of the trails. It was fun to just walk through the neighborhood at sunset. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The house was beautiful and had lots of unexpected extras - coffee, filters, creamer and a bunch of other pantry items saving us a bit of money on our 3 day food supply shopping. Tv was difficult to operate in spite of three shelf side summaries for various providers (Apple, Netflix etc. ) and detailed instructions in three ring binder. Fortunately the owner was available to explain in person to us old boomers and we were channel surfing by the second night. The setting is gorgeous, views of red rocks out of every window. Just be aware that you are staying on the street that leads to a very popular trail (Soldiers Pass), so there will be cars driving by and people chatting as they stroll along from sunrise to sunset. Not a problem for us, just an FYI. Lastly, the owner is terrific! We had an issue with the billing (apparently VRBO's fault), but Joey took care of the problem and was going to address the fallout directly with VRBO.

This place is incredible! So clean and comfortable, and designed so perfectly to maximize the outdoor spaces. You have awesome views of the red rocks from the backyard, hot tub, and side/front yard. It’s a perfect location in a quiet neighborhood, in walking distance to soldiers pass trail and many other beautiful trails—so you don’t have to mess with difficult trailhead parking (which can be a challenge in Sedona). It’s close to uptown Sedona too! Also, West Sedona offers additional restaurant and shopping options super close to the casita. The kitchen was well stocked and functional; washer/dryer great; bathroom awesome (esp shower!) We truly enjoyed our Sedona getaway largely in part because of how wonderful the casita is! We feel so fortunate to have found this gem. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat! Hosts were awesome too - great info/suggestions/etc!

My friends and I had the best time! Talk about a dream location. There are 360 degree views of the red rocks. We easily hiked to trails from the house yet it was peaceful and quiet. It was nice to have a hot tub after hiking. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with items we needed and very close to Whole Foods was nice. I would definitely come back!
