We would like to welcome you to the Erzgebirge and thank you in advance for your interest. The comfortable holiday flat "Dorfblick" is located on the ground floor of our house. It has 80 square metres of living space for 2-4 people and offers plenty of room for all guests who want to get to know the beauty of the Erzgebirge and the 22 mining sights that are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Fewo-Dorfblick is a non-smoking accommodation. The holiday flat has a large living room with a cosy seating and dining area, full HDTV, USB connection, DVB-C reception, a south-facing balcony with a wonderful view of the countryside and village, a complete kitchen with dining area, microwave and cooker with ceramic hob with convection oven, large hallway, two separate bedrooms for 2 people each, WC/shower with underfloor heating, a communal washing machine, storage room for skis and bicycles, garage for bikers, telephone/free internet access, stereo system with CD player, mp3 player, USB connection. A large, quiet garden with sunbathing lawn, barbecue area and children's playground are available for shared use.
The state-recognised resort of Cranzahl, ideally situated in the romantic Sehmatal valley between the mining region of Annaberg-Buchholz and the winter sports resort of Oberwiesenthal, is surrounded by rustling spruce forests, imposing mountains and lush mountain meadows. The town has a historic narrow-gauge railway, a smoking man museum and a drinking water reservoir, which is located on the ridge trail leading through the Ore Mountains. The Stoneman Miriquidi mountain bike trail is 2 kilometres away. The location of the holiday resort is a good starting point to explore the Ore Mountains with all its numerous sights within a short distance. We recommend day trips to Seiffen, Dresden, Prague and the Bohemian spa triangle of Karlsbad-Franzensbad-Marienbad, and a comprehensive information folder with insider tips is available. In winter there is a relatively snow-sure, family-friendly ski area in the village, on the Fichtelberg near Oberwiesenthal or across the border on the Keilberg (CZ). Travelling to us is also possible without a car - very good public transport connections. Many shopping facilities and restaurants with typical Erzgebirge cuisine are within easy reach. Our tip: Spend a few days on holiday during Advent and visit the many Christmas markets in the vicinity of Cranzahl, which invite you to marvel, shop and much more. the highlight at the weekends are the many mountain parades and light festivals.
