“My wife and I stayed here for a joint birthday/anniversary—our first real vacation since 2019. The location is convenient to downtown Catskill, but the property condition is “comfortable cabin”—just what we wanted. The backyard felt remote and we had a wonderful opportunity to stargaze. Close to great trails, restaurants, or nothing at all. My only recommendation: an evergreen hedge to provide privacy for the front porch, which has lovely cabin vibes but whose proximity to the road feels better……

“When I booked only 3 reviews were available two were 10’s the other a 2. I wondered if the 2 was a curmudgeon and if the 10’s were friends. Not a lot of other choices so I took the chance. This will now become my go to when traveling to Schenectady.
It’s a studio (not a one bedroom) that is well laid out, clean and nicely decorated. The check in details were not provided until the day of (Expedia says they will provided 3 days prior). It worked out fine, but I prefer earlier than the day of……

“My boyfriend and I came to Albany for a concert and chose this rental as it offered great parking and was within walking distance to the venue. Linda offered an amazing stay with a very clean environment. The only downside that we experienced was the bed is quite squeaky, getting up to use the restroom in the middle of the night was quite loud. But overall would recommend this property! We would love to stay again next time we are in Albany! ”

“The cabin was exactly what my daughter and I were looking for. Everything was clean, organized and family friendly. A bonus was the property connects to Bessie Woods and we were able to go for a hike on the trails without even having to leave the property. “Fantastic cottage! Neighbors hardly around and deck large and comfy. The enclosed porch was huge and allowed card game fun! My 92 year old Mom was craving quiet and peaceful lake vibes and this cottage was perfect. New large Roku tv was great! Comfy couches and well equipped kitchen! The owner John was quick to respond to questions before we got there so I knew what to bring. Easy parking and no step in. THANKS John!”
