“We had a great time. The lake views were phenomenal. It's a very quaint location. The house was perfect with all the amenities. The boathouse/dock was very nice to relax in the sun on. I have stayed in many lake houses in NC and this one is an A.”

We also enjoy shooting at the sporting clay range. They have shotguns to rent and shells. The small hotel-style refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven are just enough to get by for basic meals. “Enjoyed this place. The place is very spacious, clean and enjoyable. Patio is a charm. You can sit outside have a cup of coffee or some wine. The place also has trap shooting, which is cool! Great area to walk around. Property manager very responsive. If you have a destination to go to, just add extra 5 to 10 minutes, directions can be tricky. ”

“Our stay was quiet, peaceful, and a much-needed break from the day to day. Even during the overcast, and often rainy, weather, with the occasional shower of pollen, it was a beautiful spot to relax. Also, we made friends with the neighbors' turkey Arnold. Which was quite the surprise to meet such an approachable turkey. It was hard for him to say goodbye...he appeared at the doorway later that day.”
