“Lo mejor del apartamento es su ubicación -INMEJORABLE - La TV no se . Los utensilios de cocina son súper básicos . La cortina estaba rota , el burro para colgar la ropa estaba roto. Desde nuestro apartamento se escucha la ducha y la cisterna de los apartamentos contiguos . Eso la verdad q resulta incómodo 😂 y en medio de la noche suena como si llenaran un depósito grande de agua …..no sé si lo que sonaba también era el termo cuando se llena ….Algo muy molesto . “We would definitely stay here again. We found most of the previous reviews were pretty accurate. If you have a small enough car, you can drive to apartment, but it is not for the faint of heart. Otherwise it’s a simple 5 min walk (or less). The pool and the views were amazing. We found the town to be very nice without a lot of visitor traffic but good food and a few small stores. Nice mirador worth the 20 min walk. We did it for sunrise. The care taker was VERY helpful and responsive. ”

“La casa preciosa y limpia. José Miguel nos facilitó bastante información sobre la zona. A mejorar, la puerta de entrada, la del patio y la ventana de la escalera, pues entra mucho frío y no se mantiene el calor de la chimenea. También debería cambiar la grifería del lavabo. Por lo demás, pasamos un buen fin de semana a pesar del apagón general eléctrico que hubo en toda la zona el sábado por la noche,”

“We had a fantastic holiday. The villa is great and has everything you need. We were particularly thankful for the air conditioning but it is the outside space that we enjoyed the most. The pool was a real hit and we spent plenty of time sitting out and admiring the view. Yunquera itself is a traditional Spanish village with a small supermarket and a number of other shops. We did struggle to eat out there as many places seem to be shut in the week. Not a problem if you want to venture further……

“This really is a wonderful place to spend a holiday with friends and family. Spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a great time! The road up is very steep so have a good car. And the time of year meant that there were a lot of wasps about which was a bit of a downside. The recommendations to eat in town one evening at a lovely restaurant and to walk the Caminito del Rey were spot on - both were memorable experiences and we would recommend them both too. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending……
