Cayman Reef Resort Relaxation

Our stay at Gary and Shannons' beach condo was great. The location was central to all the activities on the island including all the public beaches. The condo was the best stocked of supplies of any place we've stayed which included numerous kitchen utensiles, appliances, charging stations, new beach chairs, umbrellas, and snorkel gear that was essential for us on the beaches. The complex was very clean, well kept, and quiet.The communication with Gary and Shannon was second to none as they responded to every email and text very quickly. Our airline, American, delayed our departure a day but Gary was very accomodating and we were able to stay in the condo another night.A wonderful place to stay and to come back to.

A slightly rocky experience

Beautifully situated condo in a nice area. Great hosts also! Only criticism is something they could not possibly control which is there were lots of big Coquina Rock in the water making access to the beautiful Caribbean water a little bit, well, Rocky!

Paradise!!!

This place was absolutely perfect for us for a weekend getaway. The location cannot be beat - just steps from the most beautiful (and secluded) beach. Not at all crowded and there were beach chairs and plenty of other seating to accommodate breathtaking sunset-watching. The condo had everything we needed, a lovely patio facing the water, all was very comfortable, and easy to checkin/out of. Would definitely come back there! Thank you Gary & Shannon.

Perfect location!

This spot was a perfect distance to everything we wanted to do, with multiple dining options walking distance to the property. The property was nicely landscaped and maintained, and offered excellent snorkeling out front. We saw several lobsters, giant female stingray, pufferfish, sunfish, and yellow male stingray. It was a quiet and clean spot and had everything we needed.

Awesome time even with a Hurricane

This is our third time to the island, first time staying here. Communication with both the owner and manager were top notch with great communication ahead of time and during the un expected hurricane that was arriving. Both owner and manager checked in on us at multiple times and helped ensure we were safe. The property is in a great location, steps to the water, Camana Bay and restaurants. Easy access to many other great beaches. The condo is clean, well stocked and has great amenities. The pool was also clean. We played pickleball and the court was great. The beach unfortunately has washed away with the hurricanes and tropical storms this season, but the water is clear, sandy and shallow and still easy to access. Lastly the condo staff and grounds crew were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for couples who are looking for an easy relaxing vacation in a good location with great sunsets. clean, centrally located for 1-2 people

This was a nice condo that we enjoyed. The space was clean and well equipped to meet our needs. Some spaces had been recently updated and that was nice. There were adequate basic supplies to get you started which we took advantage of and replaced when we left. The furniture was clean, and I did not mind sitting on it - I do recommend a throw blanket for the couch. Linens were nice and soft w/a variation of pillows to meet needs. Communication w/owner and manager were superb, and they were very responsive and helped problem solve. There is a W/D available, and it is nice and clean (no smells or stains) and works very well. I washed towels, etc. & followed directions to not wash items w/sand. Parking was an issue in that the spaces were not numbered in sequence and very hard to read. There was someone in our parking spot every day except for one. We finally gave up "following instructions" to park in our spot or risk being towed. Overall, this is a great place to stay for one or two people with beautiful sunsets and a short walk to a beach.

Good, centrally located property

The condo was well-stocked and very comfortable, with plenty of towels, dishes, kitchen appliances, etc. The only bummer was there is no beach outside the condo, and the listing showed lounge chairs and umbrellas right in front. There is a public beach very close, but not as we envisioned based on the listing/photos provided. We especially enjoyed the fan outside on the balcony - very comfortable for morning coffee while looking out at the water.

Great location

The location is perfect! Walk to restaurants, grocery, spa and shopping. Bummer the beach was so small you couldn’t put any lawn furniture on the beach (unless it was your own). You are steps from the ocean and it is a really quiet place. The only negative for me is that it is very outdated inside. There is a massive need for updating everything!!!! If that doesn’t bother you, then it is perfect.

Amazing and Perfect!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. The place was so clean and well stocked. It seemed like every time that we needed something it was there (tons of kitchen items, plenty of towels and even a few phone chargers for our use). The location is perfect and very conveniently located to shops, stores, restaurants and of course being on the beach can’t be beat. If you stay here be sure to watch the sunsets!

Home away from Home

Nice location... visited friends and walking distance to Camana Bay. Unfortunately, no beach, construction workers working around the pool and lost water for a few hours due to a water pipe strike by jackhammering.

Relaxing vacation in Grand Cayman

Complex and condo need updating. Plenty of room for 4 teen/adult guests. Walking distance to grocery store and a variety of restaurants. Very little beach left due to erosion. Great having kitchen and 2 full bathrooms. Someone needs to tell the roosters that everyone is on vacation and is trying to sleep in.

Excellent place to stay!

Everything from check in to check out is smooth and easy. The owners take great pride in their unit and it is in a perfect location. Minutes from the airport, tons of restaurants, and seconds from the beach. Plenty of room for our family of 4. We plan on visiting a couple times a year and continue staying here!

Great location steps from the beach and restaurants.

The condo porch is ground floor and steps from the beach. The sunsets were beautiful each night. You can easily walk to restaurants, dive shop, and convenience stores. There is a spa right next door. Many snorkel tours offered to pick us up at this location. We used a rental car and the nearest grocery store was Fosters about 2 miles away. This place was perfect for my husband and I. It was about 8 minutes from Georgetown. Lots of restaurant options within minutes from here. We even snorkeled right from the beach. This is not a luxury condo but a comfortable and affordable place. It was quiet at night even though we were on the ground floor. The only improvements I could suggest is block out curtains in the bedroom, a small cooler and folding beach chairs for guests to use while on the go, TV in the bedroom, and a rubber seal in the shower to keep water from running down the glass, down the tile onto the rug.

Centrally located relaxing stay

We really enjoyed our week on Seven Mile beach and can definitely recommend this condo for the right traveler. Definite pluses include easy walking to beach bars and restaurants as well as the very nice Camana Bay, quick ride from airport and easy stroll to the beach with some decent ocean views from both screened in porches. The kitchen was well stocked and the dining and living areas plenty roomy for 6 adults. The bathrooms were also clean and recently updated to our eyes. A couple points of warning which we believe are fair given the description and pictures. Most importantly, the condo facility itself has seen better days. The grounds were still maintained but the beach has been almost fully wiped out by recent hurricanes. At high tide the water touches the wall, as it does for abandoned neighboring places. If expansive seven mile beach at your fingertips is critical, may want to consider being further north. This isn’t the fault of the condo but the pictures are a bit misleading. Also, while there is an area for communal floats, etc. most of them are broken, as were several in the condo itself making it tough to escape the heat into the water. There are decent loungers and umbrellas but they aren’t set up for you over the weekend and there’s no tools to bury the umbrellas. Several lights didn’t work and the guest mattress collapsed and revealed stains and a shrug from the owners upon flipping. Overall, this makes the condo a budget, but not really bargain, option

Clean condo in the PERFECT location with the most amazing beach only a few steps away

We had a WONDERFUL stay at this condo! Check-in was a breeze and the condo was sparkling clean upon arrival. It is nothing fancy, but we spent very little time in the condo itself, so it was all we needed. The location is perfect and central to everything- we were able to walk all over the island and there were so many places to visit within a 2 mile radius. The condo had everything we needed- cookware, towels, etc. The beach, which was literally steps out the door, was never crowded and had the most beautiful sunsets. It was also nice to have the beach chairs and umbrellas available. The property owner was very responsive. We did have one small issue on day one that was resolved immediately. I HIGHLY recommend this condo. The beach and central location was worth every penny- and you can't miss the amazing sunsets!
