“Wonderful stay at Carolyn’s Cottage. House was spotless on arrival and beautifully decorated. Comfy beds, nice towels and linens. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could want. The deck off the family room has nice furniture for outdoor dining and a great grill. The star of the show was the beautiful yard and lakefront. Great views and sunrises. The Adirondack chairs and fire pit were lovely for morning coffee and evening wine. Also super convenient to town if you find you need to shop……

“We went for a weekend ski trip to Gore with friends. This cabin is located a quick 20 min drive from the mountain; just right. The cabin was very clean on arrival.The property was advertised with a hot tub which influenced or decision to book this property. When we arrived the hot tub was broken, there was a sign at check in apologizing for the inconvenience, and stating a partial refund for the malfunction was already initiated. Stuff happens, we understood, but it has been a few weeks and no……

“This location could not have been better for us - our only complaint is that we had to leave! It's called Beaver Pond, but down here in Virginia it would definitely be called a lake. We really enjoyed the easy access to the kayaks and canoe, saw a beaver, fished and caught small mouth bass, yellow perch, and even a pickerel! There are no more cabins past us at that end of the lake, so it felt like we had the serenity to ourselves. The cabin was very accommodating and clean, and after being……
