The cabin was great and it's very serene in that area. It's a bit further from Pigeon Forge than is preferable. My wife gets car sick on twisting roads, especially with changes in elevation. Otherwise, we had a great time.

We absolutely loved this cabin!! Rod was a wonderful host. It really was such a blessing to stay at What A Blessing. No complaints whatsoever! It felt so safe and private. Our kids loved playing on the porch. The hot tub was super nice and we played the arcade games a lot! Perfect cabin in the woods.

The cabin was perfect and stocked with everything you could need. Rod was such a gracious host and responds immediately. We come to Gatlinburg typically once a year and feel so blessed to have found Shagbark Resort!

Easy check in. Everything needed in a kitchen with all the necessities you would have at home. WiFi access was very fast. Easy 20 minute drive to all the fun stuff in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area.

Location is nice, driveway is a bit steep but gave us no problems. Cabin was very nice, didnt get to see any bears. Overall it was a great stay, if i had to give any inconvenience, it would be that the upstairs loft room stayed a little bit warmer than the rest of the cabin, and the living room TV wasnt a smart tv so i couldnt figure out how to log into any of my streaming sites. But overall, i couldnt have asked for a better stay at an affordable rate, kids loved it too.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful. A little smaller than we expected but perfect for our family of 4. The accommodations such as the towels, dishes, etc made it so easy to stay here and not have to bring a ton of things with us which was amazing. The extra pool that the owner pays for was a huge bonus as it allowed our family plenty of opportunity to swim and enjoy the weather. We had the best experience with the owner as well. We did have to contact him about an issue and he made sure to address it right away and was super responsive and helpful. I highly recommended this cabin amd dealing with this owner as we had a very positive experience If we ever come back to TN we will definitely be using this property or one of the owners other properties.

AMAZING!!!

Literally everything was amazing! Clean! Rod was really good a communicating! View was out of this world! We were secluded like we wanted but just 10-15 min drive from everything! Definitely will be back!

Graduation get away

The cabin was in a beautiful location! I really enjoyed sitting on the deck having my coffee with the wonderful view of the mountains. Everything we needed was in the cabin, even things we didn't think about like Ziploc bags!

Nice cabin for the three of us. Lovely bear theme. Great view from the deck. Hot tub was nice touch. Bear may have gotten into car back seat and picked up insect repellent can, bit into it and got scared away. Fortunately! See picture if the can below.

Something bit this can, left dirt tracks on the car seat.

Amazing cabin!

The cabin was exactly how it was described. It was very neat and clean and was great to not have to buy paper towels, trash bags detergents…major plus for that. The bed was one of the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept on and the furniture was great too!! The drive to the cabin was very easy and directions were easy to follow. Rod was amazing to deal with! He always responded in a timely manner. We had an earthquake the first morning and scared us to death! The shower door did shatter but Rod was on top of that and got it cleaned up and taken care of. This place was exactly what we needed and I would love to stay there again!

Very nice cabin but that driveway….

Cabin was great!! We all really liked it. But trying to turn in that hump at end of drive and backing out was terrifying! Great communication leading up to stay with owner.

Rocky Mountain Getaway

This was the perfect home base for all of our family adventures in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Check in was easy and we had everything we needed. The arcade games and hot tub were nice amenities for us adults and the kids. We definitely hope to be back.

Amazing Host

We stayed for a baseball tournament for my son and me and my family stayed in the beautiful cabin. The cabin is wonderful, views are great and fit my family just fine. The gated community and grounds are wonderful. We have never stayed in a place like this before but now it’s preferred. My children loved the creek at the playground the most. We played pickle ball, basketball, corn hole and Golf disc. We can’t wait for our next trip

Spring Break Family of 5

Secluded, quiet location with great views and just a short drive to everything! The winding road and driveway incline were a bit challenging, but as expected based on what we read from others. We got the hang of it eventually lol. Only wildlife we got to see was a curious raccoon checking us out through the glass door. We especially enjoyed ending our days in the hot tub on the deck.
