Not too bad but not again :(

Not the best place we've stayed but not the worst place either. Enjoyed it being off the beaten path. Furniture pretty dated, carpet needs stretching or replaced/removed, kitchen only stocked for 3-4 people. Large parking area.

Holiday getaway

First let me start by saying that the cabin served its purpose during our stay. We kept busy most of the time. At first entrance it was as pictured, but was immediately obvious that some furniture updates were needed. Both dining tables were outdated and damaged one of the seats wasn’t even connected. The LR tv had at minimum 5-6 remotes and even our tech savvy kids couldn’t figure out how to get the cable to turn on. The main bathroom shower was inoperable as the shower function wasn’t there. And lastly communication with this cabins management was not the best. I sent several texts and messages with only one response to the heat going out. We are extremely thankful to some neighborhood cleaning gentleman who stopped and picked up our trash as we never got a response for a trash pick up, we were there for a week. To sum it up, the cabin is cute the drive up the hill is scary and if the owners/management had better communication and furniture up to date this reviews would’ve been better.

Will never book again.

The property was not clean. It has several things that needs to be fixed. Window, outside trash can, broke furniture, broke tile, broke door. We contacted the management on our first day about door and they never came.

Needs some work

With one day of work and a few hundred dollars the place would have been great. Blinds didn’t work, sink sprayer didn’t work, no light in refrigerator and no door storage and no towel rack in bathroom

Great cabin / hard to reach staff

The cabin itself is nice with a good location. Amenities are old but work. Hot tub did not work and we had to call four times to get it serviced. The roof leaked while we were there.

Great stay

Super quick location close to restaurants and places we needed to visit also super private so we loved that we could hang out at the hot tub while kids played games and chilled upstairs with their air hockey table. Super comfortable stay and easy access to things. Thank you.

Needs updating

The good - close to attractions, size, number of beds . The bad , the cabins are crammed together, the mattresses are old , pillows are flat, tvs are old and small, furniture is broken and uncomfortable, refrigerator missing shelves, termite damage , air hockey does not work and may have had a dead rat in it , nobody adheres to the 3 car limit for parking the group cabin across always had 17-24 cars and I had to get them to move constantly. I did not bother management because we made do but for the premium price we paid I expected much more

Overall very great!

Everything was great!! Only thing is one of the toilets was dirty and not enough stored toilet paper also the toaster didn’t work but everything else was clean and great! Will def recommend and stay at again!

Beautiful, but needs updating

The cabin is beautiful and was well stocked with paper goods (Paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent), but the furniture looks like it was picked up from goodwill, the beds are uncomfortable, a broom (other than a hand broom) should be left in the cabin, and there should be more than 2 coffee mugs in an 8 person cabin. My husband said he felt dirty the entire time, but we all really enjoyed the stay. I would stay there again, but my husband said only if there was no availability elsewhere.

Shortcomings

The property was good overall but had some issues. The ceilings corners were not cleaned well and there were spiders in the master bedroom. We had to dispose of 2 we saw. The door also gave us some issues during check in. It would not open properly even when the code was entered. Lastly, the hot water in the shower did not work well. It was luke warm at best throughout the majority of our stay.

Nice cabin close to everything

Very clean and plenty of room for the 4 of us. Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Ziplines are in walking distance. Neighborhood was very quiet.

Just hanging around!!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at just hanging around cabin for our first trip to the smoky mountains and we absolutely loved it!! The place was very clean and we had no problems at all. We would certainly stay there again.

Round Cabin

Its a pretty cabin but for 1,ooo for a week youd think youd have a mattress that doesnt sag, hard as a rock.. rugs in kitchen and living room has never seen soap & water, carpet is all rippled up...really old dishes...futon upstairs cant even sit on it..washer & drier you can fit maybe 2 outfits in it to wash...really old, sheets, with stains, old blankets...dirty toaster, oven was put on to self clean but they never wiped it out...we had to dry our own towels -left in the washer and dyer..we brought out own towels -thank goodness--- theirs were old and scratchy.we had to put blankets on top of the mattress & we brought a topper ..1 bathroom had a smell the whole time... they need to replace a lot of stuff in the cabin..great area....pretty and the hot tub only had 2 Jets that was working.... they should give a discount on how bad this was.....lamps havnt been dusted in so long...if they would replace stuff ..redo it its a beautiful place...no closets to hang anything up....curtain rod fell down first time I went to open it up...nothing to hold it up..so no we wont return..alot of money for no comfort.....blinds dont work..so you cant open them up...we are very disappointed in this company.....sad to say...

No communication

The air hockey table was busted and almost falling apart. When I tried to contact the property manager (only contact that I had a phone number to get ahold of), they blew me off and acted like they would get back with me and contact the property owner but did not.

Great little cabin

We stayed in the cabin with 4 adults and 4 kids, which was a little bit of a tight fit, but not too bad. The cabin provided 2 air mattresses as well as 2 futons (though the futons were not very comfortable). The kids slept upstairs in the game/loft area and the adults got the bedrooms. I think it would be ideal for one family, but we stayed there for a week with two families and it was fine. The kitchen was a tiny bit under-stocked, but nothing major. We bought a cutting board and left it there for future renters. An oven mitt would be a good addition. But overall, the kitchen was functional. It had a coffee pot, toaster, oven, microwave, full sized fridge, and a little eating area. It even had a few storage containers in case you have some leftovers. The pool was clean and well kept. The kids really enjoyed it. But the adults' favorite part was the deck. It's covered, so you have shade basically all day, with a table and plenty of seating. The common area in the cabin is on the small side, but we barely noticed since we spent so much time outside. The hot tub was also great and got a lot of use. I'd definitely recommend this property.

Very happy with our experience

Very happy with the experience, my family had everything we need, we enjoyed each other and the rooms are very clean, the bathrooms as well . :) overall I will definitely recommend this place and I can’t wait to bring the rest of the family for next year Christmas gathering. By the way WE LOVED THE FACT THAT OUR CABIN HAD A CHRISTMAS TREE, we put it together and it was so special. We felt we were home away from home . Thank you

Comfortable but has several issues

Very comfortable stay. It would be even more comfortable if several things were improved. There is no coat rack on the premise and we could hardly hang our coats and clothes. Chairs at the kitchen table are very outdated and worn out. The worst this was at the forst night. There was a huge wind and heavy, heavy rain. At the 3 am we woke up due to this storm to foind out there was water pouring through the skylight. Water was everywhere in this main room and stairs. Definitely tell the owner to fix it if he wants to keep this cabin in good standing. The sheet cover on master bed was torn, the light was dark, lightbulbs was not in every light fixture. Hot tub could be more private but otherwise it was perfect. There was not enough utensils, especially tea spoons, no salt and pepper in kitchen which should be required. Also the kettle to boil water would be welcome there. Blinds broken in several places and opening mechanism hard to open. Flat TV sets are too small in our opinion, at least in the main room and yes, the remote control doesn't work from the couch. The couch itself is very, very old and uncomfortable to sit on it. The main entrance door handle opens when you lift it up not pushing down. Very strange very first impression. Other than that very nice stay with access to beautiful places.
