“We had a really great time! The weather wasn’t the greatest, but we made the best of it playing cards at the dining room table and relaxing in the hot tub. The beds were super comfortable. The fire in the fireplace was really relaxing. We just are so thankful to have had this weekend away. Thank you again.”

“Loved our stay with Marissa. The house is the perfect cabin in the woods with a beautiful grounds, comfortable furnishings, a cozy fireplace, welcoming porches, and thoughtful touches throughout. We particularly appreciated the considerations for dogs at the house - the gate to block off the top floor was heaven-sent! Location is wonderful as well if you're looking to get away from city an road noise. We will be back for sure.”

“This place was everything we had hoped. Beautifully constructed, large deck, large lower patio with graveled fire pit area, hot tub, pool, pond. Cathedral ceiling living area, game room downstairs, sitting area upstairs. Well done! We will be back in warmer weather. ”

“Had a family get together over Thanksgiving. The owner provided wood for a real wood fire. We so much enjoyed sitting in the old cabin part of the house after dinner and chatting with family in front of a roaring fire. The kitchen/dining area was spacious and well appointed. It is a short walk to Story, IN and backs up to the state park. We had some nice walks in the woods during our stay. . ”

“It was very relaxing. I will say that the shower had no handles to help you get in and out. It is a very deep tub. Also you did not provide a shower mat. Tubb was slick. In fact I almost fell. The hot tub was nice Friday night but on Saturday the jets did not work. That was disappointing. Also you need to have a sign out in front because it was hard to find. You had an address on the mailbox just the numbers. But you needed to have the name of the place. Not a good place to stay if you wanted to……
