“3 families stayed here for a long weekend. The weather was great for swimming in the pool (waist deep and unheated but warm enough), there were ample kitchen and glassware, comfy beds and the highlight was the fire pit which we used nightly. The playground was a bit tired, and you have to bring bottled water beyond 10L provided, but the house was still brilliant for kids and adults, and we’d happily stay again.”

“Really cute cabins, very nicely appointed, comfortable beds with nice linen.Excellent location, walking distance to main street, shops and lake.Added extra of being pet friendly.Lovely bathroom with exposed copper pipes and corrugated iron. Rustic! We loved it!”

“Super happy with our stay at the village green! The house was beautifully set up and perfect for our group. We wanted find a space that was seclusive with scenery to explore and do activities whilst also have time to relax by the fire. All beds and rooms were clean and comfortable, kitchen amenities was plenty and great spot for hikes and walks and a fun hedge maze out back. Highly recommend!”

“The house space and bedrooms was excellent.. under the bbq was absolutely disgusting.. never been cleanedThere were not enough knives for the 7 adults ( we bought some and left them there)The pool and tennis court was fantasticI had a query after we left and no one has bothered to return my query.. great little spot ”

“Overall the place was nice for a tiny home. It was a bit disappointing that there was a property so close to the accomodation. This was not mentioned at the time of booking. I would also suggest to the owner to put the Jiffy fire lighters outside as the accomodation smelt like fuel when we arrived. Some of the electrics were not working as well. Be prepared to cut up all of your firewood into tiny slithers as that is all that you will manage to fit into the fireplace. All in all a pretty……

“The Fig House was very comfortable and included everything we needed. It was a short walk from the main street of Yea. We had a most enjoyable time there.”

“We came for a fishing weekend.The location and facilities of the house were good and accommodating.The kids loved the Canoe and the kayak. Our only comment was that the kitchen is fairly small and can be better equipped.”
